Examinations in New Zealand
Examinations in Non Destructive Testing are to be arranged through the AINDT. CBIP had intended to continue the service contract with AINDT but negotiations to renew the contract stalled. NZNDTA asked the NDT industry what they wanted in regards to NDT certifications and it was unanimous that ISO 9712 was desirable. NZNDTA have asked CBIP what the timeframe for establishing an ISO 9712 scheme under CBIP was but, to date we have no positive indication of this occurring in the near future
In order to represent the interests of the NDT industry NZNDTA have, through their MOU with AINDT been able to secure continued access to the AINDT ISO 9712 NDT certification scheme for NZ NDT practitioners.
You can view a list of certifications in which the AINDT offers examinations.
This section of the site provides further information about examinations, including when you can take them, how to arrange to take them, and training grants which you can apply for.
