About us

The NZNDTA represents the interests of NDT practitioners in New Zealand and internationally which includes:

• Upholding the Certification Board for Inspection Personnel (CBIP) code of ethics
• Promoting NDT as a career through educational programs in conjunction with the Heavy Engineering Research Association (HERA)
  
• Organizing national NDT conferences and seminars
• Coordinating CBIP exams for both NDT and non-NDT personnel in partnership with the Australian Institute for Non-Destructive Testing (AINDT)
• Liaising with the International Committee for Non Destructive Testing (ICNDT) to promote the establishment of harmonization of NDT certification schemes
• Holding country representation on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
